Most math you learn in high school is pretty applicable, people just don’t learn it well enough to be able to recognize the opportunity to use it, and then subsequently apply it correctly. I’m not excluding myself, but I’m lucky that my work (programming) often necessitates basic math, though it’s all dependent. But just in real life geometry, proportions, fractions all help with DIY projects and anything really. Algebra is can come in handy when dealing with money! People who hate math: remember that money is just a quantity! If you want to master money - and earning it - solid math skills will only help. Also, google “discrete math”. That’s the most useful math they often don’t teach in high school. Sorry to hijack your comment Dylan. Peace
@VagabondPink2 жыл бұрын
@@alexkizer639 Yeah, the math could be useful for a lot of people, the way it's taught to students are rather least efficient way for them to use it in some applicable way, mostly focusing on answering exams and trying to cram in every single formula that they might not use in the future than answering what formula can be used for certain situations.
@alexkizer6392 жыл бұрын
@@VagabondPink agreed. It’s definitely not the students’ fault. I wish math didn’t come across as some arcane sorcery. I can’t say it’s the teachers’ fault either. Honestly, I think Colossal Order should make it possible for a city to have more than 1 million residents. Like, it's so unrealistic that a city with huge skyscrapers and extensive residential areas has the population of a small town.

for building roads and whatnot the game measures the road for you. it's just measured in units but you can choose exactly how many units long the road is. the rest is just calculations i guess.
