She lacks both range and speed. Her cancels are alright, but for them to mean anything you have to make your opponent respect you first, so she still has to work harder than other characters who can just throw out like 4 crazy moves out of neutral and be fine.

meh people form a consensus so quickly out of thin air these days. Asuka is somehow the lowest tier character less then 3 days in to the game when most of the top level players are only just now leaving the lab to go online. Remember that chun li was once bottom 3 in sf6. And with no patches to the game she is now top 5. In every game people fail to consistently predict the tier placements but continue to be confident and spread it around.

@@SH1NK1R01 Hence why I said "we will see how things unfold". As of now, I can see her being bottom 2/3. Zafina is for sure the worst, her frame that is atrocious, so is her damage output. Unlike SF, Tekken doesn't change that much from one iteration to the other. T8 is for sure one of the biggest changes since Tekken 5 though. We will see (as I said).

She is pretty good, the problem is that there certain favoritisms with characters like King, it all depends on the player and heat made sure of that here, sure you cant deny obvious weaknesses and strenghts of each characters but this time around a character like kazuya which has no poking can still be a death sentence falling in to one of his attacks
