He planned to kill the kings all along. He baited them with the wonder. They couldn't ignore it, it's a ticking clock pressuring them to act. So of course they're going to transition to water, and they're going to have to go hard because he had a massive, ridiculous navy. Once he was sure they'd taken the bait all he had to do was transition to land and build a lean, efficient sniping army. Awe-inspiring deception.

Sir Explosive Hopper is clearly better than BlueCoffee. He genuinely helps other players, speaks more convincingly, and has better military strategy. Also, don't forget that he won the exploding kings on Pilgrims game in addition to the previous "legend" video.

Speechless after that game, incredible strategy. Everything benefited him in short-term, mid-term, and long-term. The other people weren't even making obvious mistakes, Blue just out-played them - it's like the entire game was a book written by Blue and his own win was already determined from the very beginning.

His match in Regicide Rumble is probably the most memorable performance I've ever seen in an AoE2 game. This guy takes diplo to a whole new level.

My thoughts on blue at the 35 minute mark. The reason he gets to be passive and the reason he isn’t being called out is because of the war he essentially orchestrated. He created a chaotic battle in the center with murky alliances that were relatively equally matched. Anyone bothers to call blue out at that point only ends up tipping the balance of power against them. Meanwhile blue can sit back and snipe the victor before they regain their strength

It is possible... Blue Coffee hasn't been around in a long time as he became too notorious and everyone would gang up on him as a result. That's when you quit, or you smurf. Guess we'll only ever know if/when they're rigged into a game together. :P

Blue Coffee isn't as good at fighting and micro, and his diplo style is a bit more subtle, though clearly both are effective.

picked up the game because of you im quite bad only been playing a couple weeks but have got a decent feudal age time for 700 elo and combing that was instant pressure on the opponent(scout rush) ive picked up a few wins just from people seeing my units and resigning, started playing huns and it has improved my up time alot as something as simple as remebering to build houses all the time would always slip my mind.
