I really enjoy the T91 especially for suppressing. Wish there was more options available for handguards though.

I just bought a can and planning on putting in on my 16inch t91. Right now I have a h1 buffer in and it runs well. Did you adjust buffer in yours? Anti tilt?
@CondavourTalksGuns3 жыл бұрын
@@robreadinger5340 I put a slightly heavier buffer in, but it wasnt really necessary. I do not use an anti tilt buffer and in ~2k rounds have not seen any wear on the buffer tube edges where you would expect carrier tilt wear. It is a geiselle buffer kit that i changed the weights on.

Would love a "Piggyback" style handguard rail system for it, like the A.R.M.S SIR or Vltor CASV.
@CondavourTalksGuns3 жыл бұрын
@@newpeupyoass apparently the CASV can be adapted to "fit" (requires cutting part of the hand guard tho), im looking for a used one to try it.

The design of T91 inherited from T65 series due to the quality of gunpowder is worse than the US made powder in the era. It made us have use the piston-driven design for the reliability.
Taiwan Army will substitute new self-made XT-112 assault rifle for T91 rifle which are currently used by the troops. The new XT-112 assault rifle has a built-in reflective inner red dot and an advanced combat optical sight. Its effective and precise shooting distance reaches 1200 meters. It is an assault rifle with the world's longest distance in precise shooting currently.

Direct direct impingement does have less recoil due to the lack of the piston mass going back and forth, and also has the added benefit of the returning gas blowing the debris out of the receiver as it cycles. That's why when it was first introduced, it was touted as a self-cleaning system. Of course the theory completely depends on the quality of the ammo used, and we all know what ended up happening in Nam.

@Shop Rat #92 some piston bcg's have "skates" and the bcg on newer T91s specfically have tapered bcg rear ends to prevent carrier tilt wear. there have also been videos of T91 owners who have put 1000 rounds through them and the buffer tube shows negligible "carrier tilt wear". PWS also makes a piston system where the piston rod is built into the BCG so theres no tilt.

@Shop Rat #92 You have 2 options. 1.An anti-tilt buffer for 100$ 2. And anti-tilt buffer tube with an extension on the tube it's self supporting the buffer. 30$

What are your plans on importing stuff for the T91?
@Linemount3 жыл бұрын
We are working hard to bring in as many T91 parts as possible, things just take longer than we would like. Legally we are allowed to import every part except for the barrel and the lower receiver.

@linemount Is there a T91 cleaning kit? I would love too have that as well... ALONG WITH THE PISTOL GRIP. lol

There is a actually a T91 cleaning kit it looks really close to the standard GI M16 cleaning kit. We're working on getting both!

T91 has gas seals, they are just in a different location. Less the seals, are the bolts interchangeable?

Yes you can run a normal ar15 bolt in the wolf bolt carrier
