The metal plate is probably so that you can stick it to a non-metal surface and then hang the LCR tweezers up. There appears to be a magnet on the back of the tweezers.

Thanks, i never thought of that. that also makes me think, they could have saved weight by not adding the magnet.

Hi Tony. So what's your verdict compared to the Zoyi tweezers? I have both in my Aliexpress shopping cart and leaning towards the Zoyi. Interested to know which one you would choose. Cheers Matt

Hi Matt, go with that first thought :) For me, this device needed to make me think what frequency i needed to use to meseure properly, i did not remember that with the Zoyi,

Hi, i am not familair with the G90, but there is a great change someone has connected a HF power amp to it, try to find projects like that. it also needs a PTT signal.

Even though this looks like a nice instrument I’ve been let down by FNIRSI too many times to ever buy anything again fem this brand.

When talking about their scopes i must indeed agree, the specs are than usually over estimated. This device though, i think, is good enough for the price you pay.
