Louis beat it RTA with no hints and almost no savestate practice and actually had fun. He's insanely good at this game

There's a multi-layered joke in that sentence: (1) the route shown in this video is nowhere near RTA viable, but (2) the intended route of this level very much is RTA viable, but (3) I suck at RTA and wouldn't be able to do the intended route in reasonable time.

"03:08 Good thing wall clips aren't patched." it is patched. Also wait that wall push is affected by the wall clip patch? I mean it makes sense but that's so upsetting, I bet I could've made a vanilla setup at the goal if I hadn't used it. Remind me to make a better anti-wallclip asm some day.

@@thebiob359 I'm being sarcastic. TASes usually wall clip after a reznor, but this hack patches wall clips, so I was very glad to find this silly setup that does something vaguely reminiscent of a wall clip.

and this is supposed to be a KLDC entry? People are getting unreasonable submitting glitch puzzles now, what's next, a 10 minute metroidvania? I love your use of the screen extend patch, that patch is so bad with a player controlled camera it's incredible. Unfortunate that some of the silliness you showed me got lost. I was really hoping you'd fly under at 2:08 and accidentally skip the trigger that moves you to the second part of the chase. Glad to see you got the achievement, how were you that much faster though? You didn't get any extra speed, I guess it just broke. And a very good ending, love the boss music change for it.

If you're big, you are forced to do frame perfect jumps at 2:08 and, more importantly, you get a few corner boosts by unducking at 2:09. There would be more silliness if I didn't have to replay the case 4 times due to (1) mushrooms not respawning if you don't hit any checkpoints and (2) slot 7 being occupied by (a) the invisible solid block, (b) the ←, (c) the adult yoshi respawning offscreen at 2:01 or (d) the springboard. I would've loved to fly under at 2:08, but yoshi with wings doesn't fly down fast enough after the previous obstacle, and unmounting yoshi to make it fall down faster kills your x-speed upon remounting, so you cannot catch the ←.

@@Dacinthewizard I'm surprised that makes that much of a difference still, i guess a couple of pixels are indeed quite a lot if you only inch closer very slowly otherwise
