Nice scope brother! You can’t beat the ACOG’s! I shopped around for a long time and got the one I wanted the TA31 ECOS with the RMR on top of it. I got it from cheaper than dirt at the right time for $1399. I checked a week later and they wanted $1800 for the same scope and this was back in fall of 2013 and they are still $1800 for the one I got. Mine has the A.R.M.S. quick detach lever mounting bracket system. I like it a lot. Trijicon makes their own detach lever now. I have the green crosshairs reticle. I like that the best. I’ve only shot it once though so it’s a safe queen due to the fact that my local outdoor range shut down and I don’t have no where to shoot anymore. At least I’m saving ammo. I love my ACOG, you should think about mounting a RMR on yours, they are really nice and accurate good for cqb.

I am buying this in a couple days. Currently own the TA33. I wish Trijicon had put the ACSS reticle on as an option for the TA33 and TA11. Many people such as myself were turned off by the bad eye relief on the TA31. I loved the point you made about how you put it on layaway since it's so expensive. I see guys commenting all the time complaining about the prices of acogs. Like you said if you can't get it on the spot put on layaway or save up for it. The acog is worth every penny and people complain and act like it's not worth the money. Most of these very people never used an acog anyway.

roy e my next trijicon will have the acss. Expensive yes but well worth it. I'll be putting the 3.5 power with .308 acss on my m1a. Acogs are some of them best optics out u can't go wrong with one, they are durable and consistent. Thanks for watching

So you will be getting the TA31G ACSS ? That is the one I will be getting with the green chevron and horseshoe around it. They cost around $1300. I want to see how the eye relief holds up. If I like it enough I will likely sell the TA33.

roy e I'm not sure on the mn. But I know the 3.5 has a lot better eye relief, witch I will need for the m 1a. Jay's has one in stock with red Chevron for 1400$, but it doesn't have the acss ret. I think the price will jump up for the acss ret model. there is a lot of ret to choose from on the trijicon, I like the Chevron and the regular cross hairs, I also think dual illuminated is a must.

roy e yes it will be a while, I will make a video, maybe a pre purchase vid from the store. The acss is the way to go.
