Directed by Torgeir Ness Sundli, the video, for song "Nordbundet", is a mix of live footage of the band interspersed with scenes of the countryside around TAAKE's home town of Bergen, which have been filmed by founder and front man Hoest, who also produced the video. I'm norwegian and I moved to Bergen to study 2001 - 2003. Me and my best study buddy would get stoned every weekend and go to see unknown live bands like this for 5 usd entrance fee. Then we'd get hammered inside and rock out to the music. When I meet him once in a while now a days we'll often talk about the incredible quality of the amateur live bands there and then. Actually I feel kind of like an old hippie reminiscing about the music scene in the 60's in SF or something like that.

I can promise you, everything Hoest does is just as good, or even better than this. You won't be dissapointed if you check out more of his music. He's made several cd's with Taake (started up as a band, but he plays all instruments and does everything alone now), and they are all great. + He's the vokalist on some of the Ragnarok cd's, and more bands. Just google, and you'll see where you can find his music. It's far too much to write here.. PS. You have good taste in music, hehe;)

Taake is completely original and unique in a genre where many bands tend to sound the same(still awesome though). Also the most creative musicians in the genre, so unpredictable where the song is going.
