Me too, my favourite bm band with Shining from Sweden, both bands have elements of rock, progressive, ambiental, heavy metal, Shining even jazz , Taake folk too, not just tremolos and blastbeats like so many bands. I was at Taake concert last month, Nordjevel and Theotoxin were supporting bands

He is actually blind. It happened during recording of Noregs Vaapen. Allegedly a situation spiralled out of control while they worked on the album, with Hoest ending up with a nail in his left eye. This is him without a contact lense.
