I'm from Bangalore and I can tell you that Tanmay's knowledge on South Indian food is pretty basic. His attitude is too casual in comparison with Mr. Kripal who has decades of experience in the food industry and who takes his food seriously.

I've said it so many time to my north friends that masala in masala dosae is the red spicy paste applied to dosae and not the potato vegetable, it's called pallya meaning sabji/curry a side dish.
