Sounds great and a fast and very easy mod. Love the Fat Boy rear tire. As of April 1st, 2022 in the great state of New York no inspection stickers for a motorcycle with a modified exhaust. Some dealerships have posted signs at the doors saying they will not do the inspection with bikes that have mufflers/exhaust systems other then stock. NYS Law chapter 527.

Bought a pair of RC slip ons for my 2018 Low Rider years ago. Harley cross threaded one of the hex head bolts and I had to take it in to get slip ons put on. Should have been easy like you did.

Could you ask your assistant how he likes his new fat boy now that he's had it for a few months. I bought my 2022 fat boy in late may, put 700ish miles on it, did its 1st service and then road it to the dragon from Indianapolis without a windshield, it was a long trip to do in 3 days but I love the bike and even being my 1st trip to the dragon, the bike was absolutely amazing to ride. BTW, I watched your videos for a few weeks before my trip and believe they helped me prepare for all the curves on the dragon, thanks for the information!!

My Victory 2015 Cross Country has the Stage One Pipes and remap The Mufflers are Tri Oval Quiet at low speeds, But some bark Open Throttle... And live in California and many would think that "Noise Laws"would be Enforced...Not Here..

Looks like he needs to reverse those. If you switch them the screw heads won't be visible and the tab performance name will be visible on both mufflers. Just installed the same ones on my 2022 Fat boy. Definitely a quality item!

I'm thinking of putting these on my 2019 FatBoy but every video I watch shows them with no heat shield so you can see the connection to the head pipes. That just doesn't look good. Unfortunately my current shields are black so I cant use them if I get the chrome I want. I cant seem to find chrome heat shields for my bike. Any thoughts?

the catalytic converters are in the mufflers on the 18+ softails. You need to tune when removing the factory cats.

What would happen if you didn’t put the slip ons back on and just left them off? Is it ok? Too loud? Will it damage the bike? And lastly do you need a tuner for the slip ons? I have the same bike

The bike would run too lean, lose low end torque and be way too loud. With just slip on's you don't need to add a tuner but always check the air fuel ratio.

If you switch mufflers end cap bolts will be to inside and bottom. They are two different mufflers.

How do we deal with FL law regarding louder exhaust? I've learned the saying if they can't see you make sure they hear you, but FL says exhaust can't be louder than originally manufactured. Does FHP or any local jurisdiction that you know of critically enforce that law?

We all use Tabs I will say the OEM exhaust on the Milwaukee8 is MILES ahead of the stockers on the Twin Cams That being said … m8 even with slip ons .. it still needs a bit more .. catless headpipes and a cam Get that nice lope that is missing from the m8 Btw .. sending good thoughts for camera girl to get back to showing dudes how it’s done
