I just recently looked into the dresser duals, and I was informed that they no longer make them catless. Do you lose alot of the sound when you go with cat head pipes?

Not gonna lie, it’s a really loud aggressive sound with this setup. If that’s what you’re looking for then the dresser duals are it. My cousin has the Vance and Hines long shots on his and my setup puts his to shame. Very loud! I love it!

Hey do you get a slight rattle on your headers when you accelerate ? Never noticed it until recently and it is annoying af. Took the front header heat shield off and the sound went away. Heat shields are tightened and everything but I think these headers just make noise from all the vibration

No I haven’t noticed anything like that yet on mine. But thanks for the info, if I ever start to hear a rattle I’ll check the heat shield first thing! 👍🏼

When you do the stage 1 do you order the parts yourself or does Harley do that for you?

you still running this set up? any complaints or issues? looking at doing this same thing but only slightly hesitant as i'm hear a lot of guys talk about wanting the crossover in the head pipe for better performance. Have you personally noticed any lack luster performance?

It’s pretty the same exact one that comes on the bike except the whole bottom is open and has a bigger air filter.

I did! It was super easy and had it done within 30 minutes. I didn’t install the head pipe though. I had Harley do that.

KennyPack did Harley five you any grief about the slip ons being on as far as warranty? And what did they charge out the door if you don’t mind me asking. Going to talk to Harley about this set up next week. Yours sounds and looks great!!!

No I didn’t get any grief at all. And I can’t remember exactly the cost I’ll have to look at the receipt but I want to say it was around $1,500 for the Vance and Hines dresser dual head piped Catless and a stage one. And the sound is very nice and loud. I love loud bikes and this is it! Sounds even better in person!!!
