Thanks Costa..... Although I'm not bothered about the sub count. For me, it's all about the interraction and enhancing my preps.

I find the following helps you get used to the weight, by wearing rucksack during everyday tasks. People think you eccentric but. Wear the rucksack 1 Walking the dog. 2 mowing the grass. 3 While shopping. You will be surprised how the rucksack hours build up in just a week, while doing the above, and slowly increase the weight carried.

No problem. We probably tend to overtrain as we get older in order to recapture our former selves. I'm tending now to start lighter for more of a functional fitness rather than strength.

Run Wak Run at a steady 15 min pace, with weight, no more than 35 lb and around 4+mile. Love it.

Tabbing is a new word for me. So it’s shorter steps? Frequency faster?

We called it a 'TAB' (Tactical Advance to Battle) - A fast, yet somewhat efficient way of getting to the battlefield, or in the context of preparedness, a quick, short bug out on foot, out of the immediate area. Stride length can vary according to tiredness, but is generally shorter and at the fastest walking pace (a real shin-burner). Americans call it 'rucking' lol = much slower. I cover it well in the following vid kzbin.info/www/bejne/o5akiauwbqmcr8U

Oh maaan. Hope you're pushing on ok! Keep the strength, fight as hard as you can. Yeah our mobility is taken for granted too much. There's nothing good about ageing. In our minds we're still in our 20's. Best whishes to you all down there.
