Some have complained that his videos have gotten repetitious and boring. I disagree--the repetitiousness IS the point. They're a lesson in structure and in being "in the moment." Everything he does--even if he's done it a hundred times or more--is done with intention and thought. As many have noted, it's the meditative nature of his actions that make his videos compelling.

Very well said. It is his philosophy of living and existing. I wish we could all appreciate our simplicity and everyday actions in the same manner

I also believe that it is the simple things in life that bring joy to many no matter if it seems repetitious. Simple things brings peace to people. Tabi-ie is always pointing out things that if he was on a fast track life he would miss. The old saying "slow down and smell the roses" is true!

No, it's peaceful. Life is so fast paced. This video reminds me to slow down and enjoy my life. Remember, we only have one. I want to enjoy every moment. Not being on the outside looking in. ❤

Believe it or not, when I heard of the earth quake in Japan, Tabi was the first person I thought about. I am glad to see he is ok. I love the vids, and the scenery.

One of the things I love about your videos, is the simplicity of things that happen there. Nothing too complex, nothing too fancy. Just calmness, and relaxation. Is all anyone could ever hope for, especially during the crazy times we're living in. An escape from every day life, A travel, some quality time, with a good friend. Sometimes words cannot express how someone feels, so as always, all I can say is a simple thank you. Thank you for sharing your adventures, thank you for helping me lift a burden off my shoulders, every time. Please take care of yourself, stay safe, stay warm, have a wonderful week, and hopefully I'll see you next time!
J'adore regarder vos vidéos, elles sont tellement reposante à regarder, j'espère que votre vie de voyage pourra continuer aussi longtemps que possible, pour que nous puissions profiter de ces petits moments de quiétude

Thank you Tabi-ie, your videos reminds me of Japan that Im luckily able to visit last november. Im already watch your video years before the visit due to affection to Japan. And Im actually pretty surprised of how well your video capture the somber, tranquil peace of Japan like what I felt during the trip especially to area outside of major city. This is just felt like a good time for me.
Belated happy new year. May we have more happiness. Good health and more wealth

It’s always fun to watch you cook, you are good at it and that’s a great thing because it’s needed for surviving. Your videos are calming. Thank you for always sharing them with us. 😊
Keeping yourself warm and cosy is the key to camping in the cold and rain, in order to enjoy it to the maximum. 😊 Your gyu don looks really sumptious with the soupy base. Yesterday I went into a minimart selling Japanese products and I bought a red bean daifuku to try (think I saw you having it before). I also saw the colourful dango as well which I’ll try in futire. Your videos really inspired me to try many things including foods which I’ve never tried before, opening myself to a greater variety of Japanese cuisine. The yan yan you had is among my son’s favourite. Awaiting to see more of your great explorations and food adventures!
