栃尾又ラジウム温泉 自在館 [ Japanese hot spring inn ] Totiomata Onsen Jizaikan

We visited Jizaikan in Tochio Matata Onsen, Niigata Prefecture. We stayed in a room in the 100-year-old Taisho building, which was built during the Taisho era (1912-1926). Tochio Mata Onsen Jizaikan is considered one of the best radium hot springs in the country and is a member of the Association for the Protection of Secluded Hot Springs in Japan. It is said to be a simple radioactive hot spring that contains high levels of radon.
