Hi Karen. Tabitha is just stunning. An absolute beauty. Her skintone is amazing. Voluptuous lips and those Jade green/blue eyes really sparkle. Coloured so beautifully my friend. Excited for part two. Love Ya. x ❤❤❤❤

Hey girlfriend! Glad you like her! I think of you and your daughter now, every time I pick up my Jade pencil. 😁
Tabitha is lovely. I had to run out and get her and a couple others from your Etsy shop! Thanks for turning me on to the Luminance warm earth colors, I don't know how I missed them. I don't have the whole set, but I do have most of their browns. I agree with you that they are wonderful for portraiture. I recently discovered Holbein pencils, they're so creamy, but I don't have the cork, another one to add to my next pencil order. Can't wait till you release another eye worksheet, they're great for practicing. Here's a tip for eyelashes and irises: use Prismacolor Verithin black. The Verithins are harder so you can get a very thin, precise line. Verithins are available open stock.

Thank you Alexandra!! Those warm earth colors are the shortest pencils in my set!🤣 Great tip on the Verithins. Do they lay down dark enough since they are so hard? I’ll have to try mine again! And thank you for your purchase!!❤️❤️❤️

@@ArtbyKarenValentine The Verithin black does lay down dark enough for me. It's the only pencil I use for eyelashes now, and it's good for tiny detail too.

So happy I found you! Just finished this tutorial - I had been obsessed with noses the past few months - I learned so much from this! Your lip colors are exactly what I had been trying to get to. Just downloaded the Tabitha page and will watch this again and try to apply your lessons.

Very beautiful. Thank you for sharing. The skin is so smooth. I think i apply too many layers and can’t blend them out.

Thank you Yvette. ❤️ The problem also might be that your paper just isn’t right for your technique. You might need something with a bit more tooth, that can take more layers.

@@ArtbyKarenValentine bonjour Karen. Flo.

OMG!!! She’s Stunning 🤩! I saw her on Etsy before any other social media this time. I saw you included the coloured version in your files, very nice! I have a hard time getting my Poscas to work properly. What usually happens is that it doesn’t work, so I prime it once and a giant blob falls on a sheet of paper ( the Posca still won’t work on the page) so I have to pick up the paint with the Posca nib from the sheet of paper and use it that way, and I have to keep doing this over and over. I have 4 brand new Posca pens that all do this and I find it quite frustrating. I’ve rinsed them all under hot water for a few minutes, wiped them down, but that doesn’t help, any advice?
@ArtbyKarenValentine2 жыл бұрын
Hi Lise! Thank you! I’m sorry it took this long to respond. Lots of plates in the air right now. Posca pens are very hit or miss for me. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t. I don’t have any tips for you on that. However there is a product by Brush and Pencil that I get at Dick Blick. It’s called Touch Up Texture and Titanium White powder. (Actually it’s two products) You mix them together to create a substance you can paint on with a fine brush. It’s great for highlights, whiskers, and for fixing mistakes because you can actually use pencil right over the top of it. I hope that helps!❤️❤️❤️

Is this an A.i image? Or hand drawn?
