With all due respect to Swapanji, this nikaas for takite and takatunga is wrong and nothing pakhawaj about the composition (from any pakhawaj gharana) other than borrowing the phrases and playing them in the literal sense for tabla. He should cut this out and drop the useage of the word pakhawaj when giving out these comps... not a dig at you Joshua, your playing is great and your practice videos are a treasure. (To clarify I'm not saying the bols need to be open, I'm saying the parant and playing is different for these bols in pakhawaj and you would switch on the bayan/dayan for them, not play them literal)
