The new Karate Spirit is really good in this deck, cause it allows you to pendulum summon and bouces itself back, so you can use the mythical beast's effect

Gucci Gustavo it wont, there is a specific order. They started from the most recent "old" structure deck(caius) and are working through them in reverse order. Magician deck was pretty old

Remove the Odd-eyes, add Tempest Magician and some tuners (maybe even performapal odd-eyes synchron) and proceed to FTK your opponent by removing a bajillion counters to burn for 500 for each counter removed. The reason as to why this player didn't use Tempest Magician will forever remain a mystery

no the deck isn't that reliant on exemplar... I'd say it's more reliant on citadel to hoard counters and also anything that gets destroyed passes the counters to citadel (including exemplar)... her eff is nice but this is a pendulum deck so most of times you'll summon from hand (king jackal) so she's not really that important, the main nigga here is cerberus

in the 3rd replay the DDD player didn't even go into a linkuriboh with kepler and then make D'arc? I have been working on a link build for that deck and thats just pathetic to the power it can have on board, but hey its table 500

That's what I was thinking. They said they didn't understand why odd-eyes pendulum dragon was played, so those could be removed and replaced with performapal odd-eyes synchron, seeing as you can synchro using it and a level 4 monster in your pendulum zone for Tempest. Atop of this, seeing as it has "syncrhon" in the name, Tuning could be played, not only to search it out, but to also give spell counters. Mythical Tempest FTK is busted because of how consistent it COULD be

odd-eyes searches garuda and some other stuff, but mainly garuda... you can also run spyral strike to search odd-eyes and duelist alliance can search both odd-eyes and pendulum paradox... all these cards I just mentioned are really good at spell counter generation

I use Odd-Eyes Synchron to tune with a level 4 mythical beast pendulum. It's one of the easier options.

Princely G because that would require you to summon it, and there really isn't a tuner that helps the deck.

Yes there is, it's called Performapal Odd-eyes Synchron. Not only is it a pendulum, not only can it also utilize a mythical beast you have in your scale for the synchro summon, but it can also be searched off of Tuning, which OH JOY, is a spell card that furthers the burn advantage by giving the cards you control a counter. Even if you don't FTK with it, you can still OTK and still have plenty of access to a synchro toolbox. The deck already doesn't pendulum summon so making Coral dragon or even a stupid Stardust Charge warrior wouldn't hurt. To top that off, once we get Needlefiber it could just make the deck even better. This really makes me want to build the deck, but I'm not interested in dumping $$$$$ into it

Mythical beasts trigger me so much because they could have been kinda good if they were decent scales and not have HOPT effects.

They seem like they can work like a decent pendulum deck mixed with a good engine with high scales, although it kind of needs stuff like Wavering to ensure you can keep using their scale effs.

fuck why everything has to be super broken man???? look at the new skyfangs, they have really toned down effects... I'm up for these new archetypes being more balanced, also the deck is PRETTY FUCKING GOOD compared to some shit we've gotten recently, idk why people are complaining so much... btw the deck can utilize the new scale 9 spirit monster if you want to pendulum summon cerberus THAT FUCKING MUCH (as if cerberus isn't easy to speciall summon already...)
