Ya I miss said about marking the tooth, but I did mark the blade and say the mark was on the blade when I moved it to the back :) I was getting some lift on small cuts which have now stopped since realigning the blade.

There are two ways that a blade can be misaligned- the shaft can be not square to the slot, or the blade can be not square to the shaft. Measuring the error to the same tooth will conflate these two- they may add or even cancel out... Best to measure the 'wobble' first, by rotating the blade with the indicator on the blade (not the tooth). If there is significant movement that cannot be corrected by blade mounting, rotate to the middle value and then slide the indicator across the blade to the far side. This will give the alignment error (blade to slot). To do this test, I mount my dial indicator on my mitre slide- single hole to cut, and no other parts needed. One should do the same test between slot and fence, too.

Many thanks as always for your knowledge.

You should recommend that he engineer an aftermarket metal wheel crank for those Bosch table saw blade adjustments, to replace the OEM “high quality plastic” ones. Those things are such junk!!!!
