Sometimes I want to move the TS fence a few thousandths. To do that I use a dial indicator on a magnetic base. Similar to your feather board's screw feature but with an analog display! Thanks for the regular content.

Good tips. The less you have to measure the best. I'm jealous of your saw stop, but you might want to consider wearing "Eye-Stop" too. In my early days I was making the exactly the same cut as your last one, but with smaller sized cut offs. and one vibrated into the blade and flung back hitting me smack in the middle of my safety glasses with enough force to cause my head to recoil slightly. Now I wear a face shield AND safety glasses when cutting small pieces. (or just use a band saw)
