Da,da,da for backspin... Da... Da..... Da for topspin. He is explaining the timing between bounces, not the sound. Very useful tip.

@@cartoc6969 is the first "da" the sound it makes when it hits the paddle? I am confused and want to understand this great principle.

when i serving the no spin ball to the LONG PIPS and the opponents send back, i see the logo on the ball , so this is a no spin ball, right? but if i loop, like against topspin shots, the shot go into the net. why? If i loop the ball like against backspin, the ball go out of table..i am so confused

Because, when you drive, pure impact the ball, still got 50-70 revolutions per second (rps) topspin,so if the ball around 0-20 rps topspin,it would consider no spin, you need loop it like backspin😁

Not only that, the ball follows a different trajectory than when you get the ball back from long pips, it will dip/sink faster and earlier compared to a backspin or nospin push of inverted, so you end up closing your paddle too much if dont adjust for it. When serving nospin make sure to do a fast deep serve(bounce close to opponents edge) by banging into the table, it will mostly force a weak return. If you do a slow shallow no spin, pips can smother the ball and give you back a shortish awkward return. Pips love no pace middle table returns
