Why did you query every KPI in SQL if you are going to create calculated fields again in Tableau? I don't understand. Can't you just code everything you need in one or a few queries and then export it to Tableau?

I think he found the change(increase or decrease) rate from last month. his calculation was (current month - last month)/last month which shows 0.06 means 6% increase

Mhmm chatgpt says MTD Applications shouldn't be what you queried. The query for MTD apps that you did returns the applications issued in December, not from December 1st to current date, am I missing something?

MTD means month to date data, in our case the last month in the data is say December, thats will be MTD for our case. Id you are with real time data that is updated or added on daily basis, then for now MTD month would be April 2024
