I know in the video I said we're looking at For Loops but I went off course, and then the video was getting kinda long so I thought I'd delay, and do for in pairs loops in the next video. Sorry, but you need to be HOT on tables first so you understand for loops!

quick overview a table is like a variable that can store a lot of values that can be different data types. The contents of a table have a position in the table, it starts from the first value in the table and counts by 1 in ascending form til every value has a position number. If a value in the table has been removed/added, the rest of values shift positions. Tables have a lot of practicality, they go well with for loops.

What I suggest to you is you just skip it when you find something extra by saying "you don't need that right now" but talking for myself, if someone uses something extra on a tutorial video it gets a better place in my mind so I think you should use them too

Thanks for the tip, I don't go into those things because they can confuse people and make the tutorial 10x longer for something they won't even need yet.

@@AlvinBlox Yeah you're right but I'm someone who started learning Lua on your channel and now I'm getting better and better and my dream is teaching Lua one day. It was hard because none of the videos met my requests. Best videos are from your channel, even when I ask for dev support in Roblox discord they recommend your videos. Now, I learnt lua's logic and I just suggest that because if I saw a function in one video, at least for a short time maybe I'm not learning it in there but at least it's now in my mind. When I'm coding I can just say "Yes I remember bla bla channel using this here." and quickly look up in Devforum and use it. By the way, thanks for responding. I didn't think that you would response.
