@@ClaudiaWollny- So?

It is so good. It explains everything steps by step. I am so ignorant about the tablets but this was such wonderful information for a beginner like me. I am going to start doing tablet weaving with confident. Thank you, Claudia, for taking the time to explain all this information.

I forgot to say that I am so glad that you did it in English too. :)

Ordered your book and impatiently waiting for it to arrive tomorrow. Meanwhile trying to learn all I can so I'll be ready to warp and weave ASAP Video is very helpful, slow enough for this older challenged technically (and weavingly - and totally new to tablet weaving) natural blonde. Thank you,

This is the most helpful video I've seen. But I don't understand why cards 3,4 and 7,8 are threaded the same? thank you
@ClaudiaWollny5 жыл бұрын
These tablets have in common that they have 2 colors in 2 adjoining holes! You can change the tablet slant (S or Z) and can them always turn into the right starting position (= so that the colors will be at the right hole position according to the threading chart).

I swear that tablet weaving patterns are more closely guarded than cold war nuclear weapon designs. I can make an implosion type device from readily available documentation but hell if I can find a single pattern to try with this daft thing. :(

Did you see the QR-Code and the cover of my book "Tablets at Work" in the beginning of the video? Also, in the description there is a direct link to my website. In "Tablets at Work" you will find 910 weaving patterns for a total of 22 tablet weaving techniques ;)

I would love the written directions in English, is there a link or page that might have a printable version.

I'm sorry, I don't provide a PDF for this. I made the video ... If you want to know the whole basics and all known techniques, it's written in my book "Tablets at Work", 704 pages, Hardcover. See: www.brettchenweben.com/shop

On the hole numbering how do you know which patterns use cards numbered in clockwise or in counter clockwise like you have them marked? I have a book that is really useless compared to what your book must be and it has the cards numbered clockwise.
@ClaudiaWollny6 жыл бұрын
@@RF-nx9pm I discuss that very much in my book. Never never never number the holes. These are "hole positions"!

In this video, I could and wanted to show only the basics. With 3 to 4 colors there is much more to explain. Therefore, I only gave the hint which is in the video and made an example with 2 colors per tablet.
