I'm not familiar with acres but that doesn't matter here... and of course no calculator needed: 4 2/3 = 14/3 and 2 1/2 = 5/2 then 14/3 x 5/2 = 70/6 = 11 2/3 acres or 4 2/3 x 2 + 4 2/3 x 1/2 = 9 1/3 + 2 1/3 = 11 2/3 acres

11.67 - converted to decimal and multiplied. 4.67 x 2.5

So .. this is a case of 4 2/3 x 2 1/2 but let's make it easier and do the x 2 and the x 1/2 separately 4 2/3 x 2 = 8 4/3 4 2/3 x 1/2 = 2 1/3 and now add 10 5/3 which is 11 2/3

It should not take over 13 minutes to show how to solve this problem. Most of us did it in our heads; convert to improper fractions, multiple then convert answer to mixed number. 4 2/3=14/3; 21/2=5/2×14/3= 70/6 (35/3)=11 2/3 or 11.66
