what if your favorite rubber don't release the red version? They probably won't release a bunch of colors for one rubber anyways. I think it will be like the sponge. They will mostly use different colours to distinguish different version(H3 vs blue sponge H3) and different products (rozena vs T05) or the brand from others brands (Xiom black sponge)

Great match. Was interesting to see what you could actually do with the color rubbers. So these are the new color rubbers approved by ITTF? I do not think it's a good idea for a rubber sheet to be the color of the approved balls - in other words, no white rubber or yellow rubber. It appeared from the video that you do not have much spin or loop with the rubber you were using. Do you feel this is even a good idea? I have a hard time thinking of a good reason to make this change.
@TableTennisDaily5 жыл бұрын
Hi David these were sample sheets the ITTF were using for players at the T2 event to test. I've been told the colour of the rubber doesnt effect the performance so depends what companies will bring our colour rubbers I guess..?

I don't understand one thing that Dan kept doing during the game. Whenever he would hit a smash he would direct the ball towards Adam and never would try to hit the smash on the side of the table that Adam isn't covering. Why? Is that a rule that you must hit a ball on whichever side of the table your opponent is on or am I missing something? I am sorry if I asked a question in a complicated way. Where I come from it doesn't matter where you hit the ball so I was just curious why would Dan never try and direct his smash on the side where Adam can't return as easy? 5:08 is an example of such point. Why would you smash it right on the side where Adam can return it if you can just direct it on the side that is free?
