Friend, I have never ever seen an episode of Fargo but when you mentioned that Munch feller it brought back very happy memories of reading Michael Moorcock's stuff in the 1970's: Elric; Hawkmoon; Eternal Champion; Eternal Companion to Champions kind of stuff. I doubt that I will ever make it back to California but should you ever find yourself in North Carolina I would be honored buy you the beverage of your choice.

I had started this season, then life got in the way. Thanks for reminding me to finish. It had some great moments l, but the DV was hard to stomach. Thanks for a great video, while I might not enjoy all your videos, those that I like, I really enjoy.

I've never watched Fargo, the TV show, partially because Hulu isn't really available where I live but also it just never caught my attention. I think I'll reconsider that after this video. Thank you good Sir! And I didn't leave with the donuts! I stayed with them... 😁

If u are able to check it out I will be interested in what u think of it! 🍩🍻

That is how we do streaming too. Also some of my ancestors were Munchs who immigrated from Germany.

My wife and I loved the Movie and the TV Series. Yep all of them. Like you said they can stand alone but they do tie together. When I saw the movie I had to see it twice. It was a good thing I knew one of the managers of a local movie house. The TV shows just rocked it. There were times when I was hating what was going on and then next time I was laughing my ass off at the scenes. The first season Lester was just plain mean and in some scenes he just enjoyed torture and killing. When he went through what I remember to be a warehouse/office building. I was laughing at the way it showed how he moved from room to room shooting up the place. For a few short moments I thought I was watching a Warner Bros Cartoon. I will have to watch them again. Thanks for another fun video.

I do the same with streaming. Sign up for one month and cancel immediately. When that ends, sign up for a month with someone else. When a show like Silo comes out, I wait until all of the episodes are available, then add it to the rotation. For a perfect D&D character, my hat would go to Autolycus, the King of Thieves, from the Hercules and Xena shows, as portrayed by the legendary Bruce Campbell.

Ah yes - Bruce Campbell is awesome in everything lol🍻

Yep good show. Even the ok seasons are quite good.

Agreed!

There was only one OK season and that was mainly due to the fact that Chris Rock can't act.

Apologies. I am a child of the TV. Fargo is on my list. So I had to bail half way. Be back watching TA next week. Cheer.

Back in primary school, too many years ago, the school secretary's name was Ulla Munch. Nice lady. Don't know if she ever ate any sins :p Edit: Just realized the character is Ole Munch, not Ulla :p
@tabletopalchemy7 күн бұрын
Oh man … she ate sins and was Ole’s sister 100%! 😂🍻

All 5 seasons streaming on Amazon Prime in UK. Would probably take me at least a year to get through 5 seasons though. 😒

I think it’s a worthwhile experiment - to see if the storytelling might be good enough to compel a faster watch lol. Season 5 for u is a good bet 😉

I viewed that character as being delusional, all his back story stuff was his delusion. Bringing in the supernatural ruins the "true story" aspect of the story. That being said. The character would make a great NPC for Call of Cthulhu
@tabletopalchemy10 күн бұрын
Ah interesting. And agreed about Cthulhu 🤙🍻

Can’t he just pay someone else to eat his sins and the sins of the guy who paid him?
@tabletopalchemy7 күн бұрын
Interesting proposition! In the show he’s specifically *very* poor so maybe he’s been saving up for that … but also lacking dreams maybe his depression keeps him from seeing that idea … or maybe he doesn’t want to curse someone else …? Lotta story stuff there! 🤙🍻

Replacing the subject of the video with 'this' in the title is clickbait bullshit.
@tabletopalchemy7 күн бұрын
Hmm perhaps lol. I think true click bait is when the thing in the thumbnail isn’t even in the video at all, but that’s just my opinion. 🍻
