This turned out exceptionally well. I like the tip about the stone steps and adding inks to the black wash. I'm always learning new techniques from your videos. Glad to see the stained glass horse window come to life! My thought for the next structure to add to your medieval town would be a blacksmith/forge.

In absolute agreement with others here - this is an astonishing piece! I've rarely seen shops made for crafting builds so that might be neat! I actually run a game where the players are adventurers for a family shop and use it as a home base. Had some good encounters where they've had to prevent the local mob enforcers from breaking the wares during a shakedown which proved for an interesting evening!

This is one amazing build. I really like the color scheme. In my humble opinion I would say this is one of the best builds you have published. The details and little added realism you add to your build has set you apart from others. I personally do not mind the time between your videos. I agree with you it does allow you the freedom, latitude to add more detail, and removes the stress of ‘I need a video this week’. Keep up the amazing work!

You can also add me to the list of people who are totally fine with you taking your time to do the build the way you want to. I don’t know how you manage to always come up with new techniques, tricks, or tips every video; but having more detailed builds would probably include more of that which would help all of us learn. And since you were foolish enough to allow us to pick your next village build 😎 …My vote is for a Lumbermill

The level of detail you add to your builds is really remarkable! It inspires me to push myself to new levels. I look at your pieces and think to myself “challenge accepted”. Two ideas I have for your village. One, a full on modular market. Think multiple stalls with canvas roofs, barrels, wagons, crates… everything you’d expect to see in the village square on Saturday morning. 5-7 pieces with scatter that you could just toss down any time you’d like your party to have an outdoor interaction be it looking for clues, buying new things, or watching a public execution. Very versatile and modular. The second is a thieve’s guild like the one in Skyrim. I know it’s not specifically for the village but maybe something that ties your village to your sewer build. I’d love to see your take on both of these ideas.

This was a fantastic build, I can't wait for you to fill your basement or large gaming area with a town of 50+ houses. Next, I'd like to see a merchant district, with interiors. Or, have you made a large church/cathedral, with a dark secret in the catacombs beneath? Maybe that's what's next. Maybe like the one in Diablo? But it should be large. Large as in larger than the size your castle. That castle is excellent, but not very large. It's more like a rich-retired-knights-sized-castle. Modular city walls?

Yeah, yeah, yeah... crafting bla bla... BUT WHAT IS THAT MUSIC IN THE BACKGROUND LOL (the first 9 minutes)... I played The Settlers (on Amiga 500) in the 80's which is this song only a different "version/flavour" (I'm not English so don't know how I should call it 😁) Oh yeah... and your build is awesome... but nothing new there😁
