If you're planning on an ocean adventure or a cave crawl you need to craft these ocean and flooded cave tiles for your next tabletop gaming session! You're players will feel like they are playing over actual water. Use these tiles to act as the ocean floor, or use them as the surface of the ocean as the location of your epic seafarer battle for games like Cruel Seas, Black Seas, or even Dungeons and Dragons! The cavern water tiles are fun as well! Entice your players to go exploring that underground waterway and have them traverse these tiles to escape the cave or find amazing treasure!

Instead of using the PVA glue and the sand mixture, you can mix some sand with the fully mixed resin and spoon it onto the tiles. This will also remove the step of having to "paint" resin on the sand to seal it before you do the final pour.
@TabletopWitchCRAFT
@TabletopWitchCRAFT 3 жыл бұрын
Not a bad idea... I might try that. Painting the sand with the acrylic paint might not go as smoothly over the resin.

As expected great explanation and great idea. To link those tiles up more stable how about using magnets? Glue one on the outside of the pouring frame, so that you always have them the right way in every tile you make. Also i would make a silikon "ground" with tile markings. (So you only have to do that once) And after curing I would flip them, or like in your case give them a preconstructed bottom side to either cast and let them bond, or just glue to it.

Sounds cool. 1-2mm is perfect. Plenty for the shadow to show at the bottom and perfect for the surface.

I’ll definitely dive into genres like this on the channel. I love trying out new techniques, and that will certainly give me the opportunity.

I have a request, I am trying to make an Egyptian themed campaign, is there any way for you to make a tutorial on desert tiles? Or can you give me a recommendation on where to look?
