I think so! It's solid and comes with a lot of features/size for a great entry level price. If this is your first time using a graphic tablet it might take a bit of practice to get use to the dissociation between not looking directly at what your hand is drawing. But that's something you'd have to overcome with any graphic tablet and does disappear with practice!

Looks fantastic - but sharp edges make it very uncomfortable and unusable it's the MOST uncomfortable tablet i used in 13 years because the edges hurt your palm when you rest your palm or draw. I wish they extended the very nice smooth bevels the have on the metal part of the tablet, where you have the buttons, so the rest of the tablet has the same nice smooth beveled edges so it's easier on the palm.

@arrowmi4 жыл бұрын
Holds up well even now! No scratches or anything. I've bought a screen protector for my tablet in the past and it helps protect it but note some screen protectors will change the texture of the surface (a smooth one will make the surface glass-like for example). Up to your personal preference. I didn't mind it either way~

I'm curious, I'd be using this with Ps CC on Win 10, I've been using the ancient yet reliable Ps CS3 for... a very long time now but just bit the bullet and upgraded to the CC sub (the cheaper option with light room and 20 gb cloud), I have always used mouse+keyboard but drawing is so much more natural for me. I would like to get a reasonable priced tablet as I'm at best just a hobbyist, I do a lot of photography and editing in Ps but also original artwork but cant help feeling a little held back by the mouse interface. So this is kind of a learn to do it with a tablet thing. Now my question, in the UK its £100 for small and £130 for medium, I'm using a 4k screen currently on the desktop, would the small hamper me much or should I really go for the extra inch or two on the medium? I can stretch the extra £30 ok but, if I wont need too?

Thanks for your review. I've been interested in the Deco Pro for a few days and wanted to know how it compares to the H420. I'm currently working in a cramped workspace, no desk, so I'd like to know how it handles in the lap, and how cumbersome the Deco Pro is. Also, how is the hand space for it, do you find yourself running out of it when drawing? And the responsiveness as well, on the H420 the lines can get very janky, though I wonder if that's because of windows 10.
@arrowmi4 жыл бұрын
I've never tried it in my lap so unfortunately I can't personally attest to what the experience is like for that :'D but hand space when I was working on it on a desk was no problem. The tablet scales your screen to the active area so you will never run off the edges of the tablet. Responsiveness is good, aside from the blips I mentioned in the video
@MrOnepiece144 жыл бұрын
@@arrowmi thanks so much. I never really knew there was a difference in tablets since I had cheap ones, but the H420 is outclassed by a Kindle Fire 8 in comfort alone, which made me realize I needed something better.

Hi. I bought this tablet recently and decided to return it. When I started using it I found that sometimes it did not recognize clicks. The mere weight of the pen and the contact with the tablet were not enough to activate the stroke. I needed to apply minimal pressure even at maximum sensitivity, which didn't feel natural at all (unlike my basic little wacom intuos that recognize the slightest touch). From XP pen technical support they told me that it was probably due to a flaw in the construction of the pen, but I'm not sure about that. Do you think it may be a pencil failure or did you experience something similar with this tablet?
@arrowmi4 жыл бұрын
hmm it's possible it was a mechanical error with the pen you got :0c When I was using it I didn't feel any noticeable difference (exerting pressure) than when I would draw with my wacom

How long is the usb c cable? I was first going to get the Deco 3 to use wirelessly to my tv from the couch, But I wanted the agility of being to use it with my phone, So I settled for the Deco Pro, with no wireless support though I'm not sure if I'm going to able to use it in my main use case.
@arrowmi5 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I don't have a tape measure with me right now to get exact measurements, but you can eyeball the length at 2:06 in the video. Maybe ~3 feet? It's fairly long for standard uses at a desk/computer. But I don't think it's long enough for working on a couch to a TV unless your TV and couch are veryyy close together (which I wouldn't recommend anyways for your eyes). If anything you can always separately buy an extra long USB C cable. Amazon has 10ft cables!

@arrowmi4 жыл бұрын
Yes I use a wacom cintiq 22hd. i love it! it's the most popular display tablet so there's already tons of great reviews on it but ultimately it boils down to it's a great tablet, but very expensive. Graphic tablets (like the one in this video) are great for people starting out with digital art, hobbyists, or people that are on a tighter budget and don't want to spend $1k+ on a tablet.The hand-eye coordination barrier is definitely weird at first but with practice it goes away!
