You guys were talking about using a cable over airlink or VD. Using airlink or VD is a much better connection than a usb-c link cable as long as your using wifi 5 or higher.

Your lagging has minimal to do with your GPU. The CPU is the one who has to work most in games but also it has to do with compability from the game itself, the game engine, drivers and coding. If there are to many entities, reflections, moveable or destroyable objects within the player's surroundings the game will lag even though you have a 30k$ computer because the engine is overloaded with data which it cant process fast enough but your CPU has no problem to catch up but still waiting for a response. Sometimes it can help to buy a much better CPU because the CPU does most of the work in games

@@TimelessVRyt Ryzen 9 7900X isnt a bad cpu though, it shouldnt bottleneck with that kind of low load in VR games. The clock speed and the cache memory on that cpu is pretty high, its more of a "editing and multitasking" cpu but still performs well in gaming applications. I think its leaning on the compability side. If you download MSI afterburner (including Rivatuner statistic server in the installation), you can actually monitor the game in real time and monitor the components in % format, there you see if the CPU or the GPU is bottlenecking. The job of the components is to divide the tasks equally, if one component is taking up all the tasks, it will run to high and it will cause stuttering and fps drops. Hang on to the cpu but monitor it, check how it performs during high stress testing and see how it performs during the test. Watch for temperatures and maybe spiking voltages, Intel had issues with their voltage settings but I dont know if AMD has any, yet. I dont know your ambient temps in your room but make sure the cpu doesnt rise above 80+c because it will throttle. If you got temperature issues, make sure the case is ventilated properly, no thick buildup of dust and good ventilation in your room to get the hot air out. My best recommendations are to check for the latest motherboard and cpu drivers. I recommend you uninstall the current drivers on your system before installing the latest ones. For the GPU, try do a rollback on the drivers, meaning you download older versions of the 4090 driver and install it. Nvidia has been notorious in recent past for pushing out drivers that makes games lag in certain games, compability issues. Love your content man, thanks for entertaining us!
