dont forget the dynasty has monks, which have potential to be as good frontline as fencers and maybe better.why?they have so much health, plus they have the knockdown to help the others.

The Dragon unit from Dynasty is super good, it's probably in the top 5 in terms of cost/effectiveness ratio. It deals very high damage and can destroy both groups of melee and bosses (a group of 2-3 of them can easily destroy groups of kings, jarls etc), it's also very tanky. The only weakness is groups of ranged units. Also the Void Monarch is broken, I had many difficult campaign games where I just put 1 of him and he easily destroyed everyone. He especially decimates groups weak ranged units like archers. While he's weaker than Chronomancer against bosses he's much better against groups, the Chronomancer loses instantly against a large archer group while the Void Monarch teleports and decimates them. Another good unit is the vampire, for his low cost he's crazy good with high health and super fast speed. He's good against pretty much any other unit except for tanky AOE bosses and can easily destroy ranged units.

Evil faction can be really good. the void monarch destroys any kind of crowd, as well as teleporting to whatever hit him, making him great against range. shadow walkers slaughter the weak units behind tanks, and death bringer is fairly strong. the tempest lich also has infinite range, and high damage, and the mad mechanic does insane damage. mad mechanic seems like it should be for crowd control, but in reality is better at tanky units. i would say the cultist and exiled sentinel are the worst of this faction. the cultist has the same problems as the paladin, and the sentinel just loses their protection when they get close.

Exiled sentinals i discovered are very good in a small circle formation and makes them real real good, the cultists prob worst

Oh yeah the DOT is pretty good, they just seem expensive for what they do, I guess it's just me though! Maybe costing 400 would be better?

Halflings can be useful, but it’s very situational. Say I have 50 left, and I want to spend most of my money. In a 1 on 1 situation, halfling is better than peasant and if I don’t think ranged units will be a problem I often pick halfling over painter. Still though, it is kind of bad.

they nerfed the Jarl after 0.13.3 update, I think both king and Jarl are even now, the king still has the double of the health and does 1.5x more damage. the enrage lasts for 5-6 seconds instead of 7-8 seconds, and he got health nerfed, and the enrage doesn't make him walk faster every single time like before, I think the medievals should be a bit higher ranked because of this nerf. I thin jousters are really good too, they deal a massive amount of damage with their lance, along with their ability to pierce through enemy forces and they do pretty well against hordes.

also, the void monarch is incredibly good against ranged units, being able to 1v100 archers(well, but he is weak when it comes to something that one-shots him, like ballista and groups of muskets), and he does pretty well at crowd control. I think the void cultist is supposed to group up your enemy units and place something with massive AoE like tank and bomb cannon to one shot all of them, but overall, I don't think they are that good. but anyway, I really liked your tier list, finally, someone doesn't underrate farmers just because they are farmers, finally, someone looks to the strengths and weaknesses of each units before deciding.

@@Cronchychomp Cronchychomp is speaking the truth. The chronomancer can be shot down by like 5 archers easily whereas the void monarch can teleport up to range units. Also I liked the jarl better before the change because he used to be like a cheaper king that i could subsitute but now it is a different unit completely that I usually don't use that much as it is unpredictable.

Renaissance is actually better than you think! In comparison to the low health f pretty much every unit there, they're all pretty good at dodging slow attacks. I always see fencers ducking under viking axes and balloon archers have insanely good recharge time (2 seconds) and if you hit enough arrows on them, even a Jarl will become redundant. Jousters are good if you like to hop into your army. I find that if I'm using Renaissance vs Viking, I'll hop into a jouster and round the melee ones up, ready for my muskets and balloon archers to demolish them.

i think you should higher up the dynasty because they have also samurai which can delflect projectiles so its kinda useful and the dragons to its really good in low health units

Tribal has really good units like mammoth or chief. Chief is a damage dealer. His stone axes are used to destroy weak but big armies. His weakness are archers. Mammoth is good for destroying big armies. He is really tough and his charge ability can do a lot of damage. Farmer faction is good too. I think poisiner and scarecrow are really good Poisoner is a good and cheap support unit. His potions can neutralize almost any unit. Scarecrow is good for hard maps, like a cheat code. It can damage your enemy from any place. His crows are controllable, which какой which makes everything much easier.

Evil faction is s/atier: Shadow walkers- one of the best anti Archer unit Mad mechanic and guy with shield-mid level Death bringer, void monarch - can be the best units Void cultist- a good tank, that's can slow weak enemies with his ability

I think medieval deserved C tier at least because while most of their units are bad, the catapult is pretty good at destroying formation and tightly packed units plus the knight is just OP

I don't like ancient, not gameplay wise, but conceptually. That time in history has so much potential for unique units but the devs really didn't do much with it

i dont think the wild west should be in s tier.the faction only has one reliable frontliner and its the cactus.the others are so squishy.and most of them are ranged units so they're super squishy.

Personaly i think, dynasty are a bit better than Acnient Kinda like this: SSS+ : Secret S. :Legacy Good, pirate, Viking A. : Wild west, Dynasty Ancient, B. :Farmer, Spooky Evil, Renaisance, C. :Meidieval, Tribal

Honestly I couldn't tell you, I havent played TABS in over a year! A lot of people wish their favorite faction was higher than it ranked, so if I was to just take comment section ideas I don't think I could rank any faction lower than a B.

I know this video is old but I gotta strongly object to good being s. They have no game against ranged units whatsoever. Deadly barricade is a nightmare of a level that basically requires you to cheese it or get insane luck spamming celestial aegis. Whereas blunderbuss, hay bailer, vampire, painter, berserker etc beat it very cleanly and consistently. Sharp rain also sucks, but gets ruined by rushers like berserker, vampire, and shadow walker.

I think my main issue with the King in general is the fact he needs priests to be effective, the only reason he actually killed that Jarl in the video is because he had multiple healers backing him up. No other boss unit in the game needs to rely on another unit to go toe-to-toe with the others.

No, I think hay balers are better, because the celestial aegis has a limit for her shield(about 5 shots or idk how many), while hay baler doesn't have a limit for his armour, and they are even cheaper

At least on Xbox the flintlocks are trash I used 71 of them on a level in the pirate campaign in a dynasty level and barley one one died even then firework archers lived

The bank robber is probably the worst card, its a very very downgraded version of the longship doing MUCH less damage and aoe than the longship and one of the robbers dies emeidelity after throwing it, plus longship also has paddlers, its also 850 what if it was 300 it would be balanced although

the tribal faction is not bad it has bone mages which are basically ogga booga wizards that summon bone spells and mammoths that turn a bag of hay to dust and i have heard that spear throwers can easily 5-6 shot a reaper they are not bad just stupid? who am I kidding all tabs units have the brain of a rock or peanut? I guess?

The chieftain is really good at taking down tanks because of the fact that they have extremely fast attack speed. Otherwise, they are hot garbage 🗑.

I have never been this sad in a tier list video ever. You really just placed the dynasty in B and not a or s. If I had the option to use one faction to beat every level that exist tabs, i'd pick dynasty. Samurai are amazing against ranged aoe, firework archers with a good frontline can kill any army, monks are meh, ninjas with a decent frontling can be a pain, dragons are overpowered, hwachas are either the best unit ever or f tier, monkey king is garbage, but all in all I love the dynasty faction Edit: I love painters too they can dodge an initial volley of ranged attacks which is so useful for absorbing ranged damage because they don't die instantly from it, good faction is horrible, if not for the arbiter

My main problem with dynasty is that samurai are only good against ranged. Any other build with a decent frontline will smash them because samurai are overpriced if not put up against ranged units.

@@Cronchychomp I would also like to further elaborate that I use samurai to defend units that act like artillery (hwacha, bomb cannon, etc) though you could argue that peasants can absorb those shots, I also want the samurai to fight their frontline with the help of an artillery unit

@@Cronchychomp I agree, they are great at protecting glass cannons, because a couple archers, deadeye, and spear throwers can counter units like reaper and artillery units, so samurai just defend well, and they are cheaper than blunderbuss so being short on cash isn’t too much of a problem

Just as a side note, the deathbringer can be beaten by a king 1v1 so i would put evil lower, also they have no reliable ranged unit besides the tempest lich which is not that good also I agree with you on the secret faction but a lot of these units that you mentioned that are very powerful are also very costly
