I saw Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and party in 1993 in Granville Town Hall in suburban Sydney, Australia. It was exactly like this - unbelievably powerful, like being witness to magic. the audience was totally transfixed, totally hypnotised by this performance, which went late into the night. Undoubtedly one of the greatest concerts I have ever seen.

I remember listening to this song on TV in NYC on the Indo-Pakistani Channel when I was 8. When I found out the lyrics of this song, it made me cry. ALHAMDULILLAH Ir-Rabil Al Ameen, I did my Shahadah in Iraq August 28, 2003(20 years later). One of the reasons (aside from Reading Al-Qur'an Kareem 32 times) was this brother's song, El-Hajj Malik Shabazz(Malcolm X), The life of Nabbi Muhammed (SAAW), the G.O.A.T Heavy Weight Boxer Muhammed Ali, Sheikh Ahmad Deedat, Khalid IBN Walid, Sultan SALAHUDIN Ayoubi, Sultan Mansa Musa, Sultan Suleiman, Ibrahim, Musa, and all of the prophets. The list is longer, but this brother was 1 of the 1st to introduce me to the beauty of Islam in song. May ALLAH (SWT) forgive his sins, have mercy on his soul & grant him Jannah.

You should have seen the face of the Pakistani man at the corner grocery store when I told him that I find very beautiful the voice of UNFAK. A man of my age. We were totally agree on this evidence. His eyes were saying: "God bless him !". We had a few seconds of silence in total harmony, deep admiration and respect for UNFAK. ☮💟

@@fankooshaloosh6062 i have seen tons of those singer who just follow a raag in clasical way for past 1000 years nothing new .nothing special.Nusrat followed.sung.changed.recreated.mixed.a new way of music in still clasical indian music .stilk using the same raags.still singing qawali but made the listerner of this century crazy about his music without even telling them what they are listing to is base on thousands of years of indian classic.if Tansena was alive he would have been getting training from Nusrat fateh Ali khan
