Honestly though pretty unfortunate for marth how poorly he has aged compared to other emblems. You can say Celica has bad combat too but at least she has unique 6 space warp + pass utility. Marth has....wow, genuinely absolutely nothing.

Marth would (maybe) have been good if shield fighter and the Celica ring existed when he came out. He'd have made a pretty good counter to near saves. Unfortunately, by the time these things happened, he'd been left faaaar behind

He can use desperation in enemy phase which is extremely unique, but it really doesn't make up for anything. Him with Brave Bernie is kinda fun for that, but it's nowhere near the impact that any other Emblem unit has.

This tbh. So many times I've thought "oh man I love this unit, I'll get more copies on the rerun", or "I should have picked up that unit, I'll make sure to get them on the rerun". Then by the time the rerun comes, the unit has been dead fo4 half a year.

Ike is DEFINITELY THE BEST Emblem Hero so far. As for his Emblem Effect, it is so underrated that they think his Effect is weak. Pair his Emblem Effect with Laguz Friend and Defensive Special like Godlike Reflexes or Aegis or Pavise, you have hard-to-k1ll tank. So, for me, Emblem Ike has the best overall performance as Emblem Hero.

I think Ratatoskr is better than a lot of people think. The problem is, she has a very high skill ceiling. Which is a problem cause most of the best units just don't have a high skill ceiling. They just do most of the important stuff basically for free. There is an extremely specific advantage with Divine Vein green over regular warp bubble. It's how AI treats Divine vein space and warp bubble. Cause while they can't attack an enemy through warp bubble you can still trigger the AI to start moving with warp bubble, whereas Divine Vein you can keep the AI locked in their place with Divine Vein. Important whenever there are extra movement shenanigans. Divine Vein can also theoretically cover a larger area. Oh well she's not even in the running for this anyway, but she is definitely understimated by a lot. Also she can beat Brave Felix in both player and enemy phase which is extremely useful considering he's probably the best unit of this year that you didn't even include here.

I think V!Lyon was the most impactful duo of the year. SO much in the game changed bc of him and his hitting power.

The Rat can take out Felix when she initiates, or at least what I have seen so not sure that is terrible for a 2023.

You kinda forgot the normal 5*s, and I'm gonna go ahead and nominate Nergal for that one. No one comes close to the amount of impact he has, for how long he's been going, and still has as long as Niddhoggr is not on the enemy team. Brave Felix definitely comes close, but he really doesn't has the sheer amount of support and countering to the meta that Nergal has. Felix is a little too one note, despite being oppressive with Celica.

Man brave Felix os absolutely such a menace and sicking unit he's literally the most annoying unit they release he pisses me off alot he literally the reason why some people loses alot of their ladders. 💀 I hope he's counter is coming soon and we finally can breathe also tbh I'd say Ratatoskr really isn't that bad her divine green is genuinely so useful for dealing with emblem celica brave Felix as it can save u some time stopping him his wrapping and she also can take him out especially it's a breeze when she has nimble beast. Also for special heroes I feel like baby Emmeryn deserves a mention as she really was such a unique unit with her wom4 built in that allowed alot of fun galeforce strats which is really good and she was a really strong unit in terms of support.

Regarding TT I feel Fredrick is a soild 2nd place or 3rd he has a preference weapon and can do good support like Eik.

GHB units are better than TT units in general. They have better fodder and are more useful. TT is the bottom of the bottom for units.

jesus christ basically every duo unit does absurd broken stuff or is ridiculous in combat and then there is alear who is on par with byleth just that he is 1 year older also heavily disagree with hortensia. i have never seen her anywhere and i also wouldn't know why you would. everything she does has better alternatives. what i would consider are marianne for just being a dancer that can attack and we all know how broken dancer are, þjazi is a decent tank, and then leila basically forcing you to have null debuff if you want to stand a chance and because it's a debuff does she not even need to be the one attacking in the end but she can and safely unlike embla. for no bias at all would i choose the unit that trivializes ar right now for me

I disagree duo Alear is genuinely so strong and underrated he can easily deal with brave Felix and alot of tanks like Nidhoggr and Eikthynir even idk why alot of people seems to underestimate he's tanking power.
