The problem is the shipper is not paying a proper rate. Or the operator has undercut a competitor to get the work. A lot of poor rates offered by shipper's plus holding up trucks when loading. It's a stupid mistake to continue driving when tired as you're just going to draw attention to yourself. I'd say the driver was being forced to keep going in this case. IMO
