I feel obligated to mention, the “velvet” saddles are wintecs. They are completely synthetic, can be cleaned with straight water, no soap needed, they are soooo comfortable! Plus you can change out the gullet plates to change the size to fit literally ANY horse! ALSO: the striphair gentle groomer (the thing next to the curry on a stick) is amazing! It works soooo well! It’s in my grooming tote and i LOVE it to death! And the horses love the massage effect.

Just finished the video and it was so fun to watch. Your so lucky to go to Dover! Also that big white thing that you saw in the tack shop that you thought was a girth but you didn’t know actually goes over your saddle and makes it comfortable to sit on. For the treats I always get those dimples that are in that little round clear tub but you made good selections for the treats. A lot of horses love peppermints so I think the ponies will love them! I’ve actually never seen those other treats before so that will be interesting to see the ponies try them! Oh and the fluffy halter (what you call a head collar) is really big because there are a lot of big horses in the USA like Clydesdales etc. I hope you loved your time in the USA!!!

She mentioned learning about the “hunter/jumper” discipline. This is the discipline that I'm training to compete in one day. Unlike show jumping, hunters is focused on you and the horse’s looks. Also, you will not see sparkly accessories, so only conservative colors. The reason is that bling and flashy colors are not allowed in their shows. PS: I shop at Dover Saddlery as well.

Dover Saddle is our lovely English tack store, tbh idk how many English tack stores we have but we do have some as well as all western tack stores with a little English stuff but catered to our western riders, while the English tack stores may have a few western stuff but catered to our English riders

Dover is an absolute heaven! Its where I blow all my money, but Dover is more of an English/Hunter Jumper tack store so if you want to see some western tack you have to go to separate western tack store!😍

If you want to find Western saddles then there's this other tack shop called Another Turn Tack Shop and it has everything you need. It has horse board games, Saddles, Bridles, treats, Hat silks, Helmets, Girths, wraps and Blankets and anything else you can think of. Dover and Another Turn Tack have been great and I hope you like it here in America, Harlow🙂
