Great Video Dan. I have similar problems with loading my 4 wheel Shuttle.I have had it electrified and the rear axle slightly widened and also wider pneumatic tyres fitted. I do like your front extension which I am going to look at fitting to my one. Fantastic idea. Looking forward to more video's.

Great video dan! ...love my preston trolley but was sick of wet nets ,same as you ! The front D bar on trolley i welded (or you could bolt) small section of hollow section bar either side of D frame !, this allows a map front trolley bag to fit on perfect to put my wet nets in!!.

Instead of adding the metal extension and wooden base....why not just add a couple of the Preston ripple bars to the uprights, pointing forward, and your net bag can sit on them, bungeed to the rest of the gear. Just a screw, or two, and they can fit onto the main part of the barrow. Could do the same with a bowl / bucket ring on each side of the barrow for buckets. Last point....the handles are in need of an upright / vertical pushing grip. This would keep your forearm straighter during the journey to your peg. You could even put the whole handle on a locking ratchet (like a keepnet angle-tilt) to get the perfect hand angle for individual anglers.

I like the idea of the vertical handles! I’m not sure if the ripple bars would be strong enough though. The net bag is also quite wide and has a fair bit of weight in when the nets are wet, so the extra width of the wood holds them well.

The ready rod bag? It’s a monster 4 rod holdall from Preston. It is discontinued though. The nearest one they do to that now is the Preston Innovations World Champion 6 Rod Holdall.

I looked at one a couple of years ago. I measured it up and decided it wasn’t any better than what I was using.
