Could this be used for long distance hiking and camping wheelbarrows were used along time ago for hauling your life just checking the carts for hiking are super expensive any thoughts would be appreciated

Does the wheel have a valve and if so will it fit a standard garage air pressure connector as a lot of barrow wheels don't.

Yes fits in any van not if only got hatchback and all the gear silly 5kg of boiles havinga laugh
