ur funny,,,common sense, i always use one of those thin money pouches under my shirt,, i do not bring strangers to my condo, i ignore all beggars and especially if approached by many kid beggars, i use grab instead of taxis, and be careful of your friends. I lived in cebu city for 7 years, and have been traveling to the PI for 30 years. I only had 1 problem, a bunch of kids begging for money tried to grab me for money. They thought i had cash in my pockets, i pushed them away.

To the foreigners wanting to have girls in philippines. Most likely the women you'll gonna get are the bottom of the ladder financially women in the philippines. The gaps between rich, middle class, and poor are very noticeable. Poor girls are easy for foreigners if you have cash even if you are old. There's a running joke in the Philipines related to it. Also don't assume poor person's behavior is the same as the rest of the population. Many of us living here comfortable like you do in y'all western countries. We got healthcare, education, transportation, right to bear arms (only handguns and must be licensed), and etc. We are a developing country and soon to be among the rich countries in the world.

Okay, I'm a Filipino. And we do NOT have the right to keep and bear arms enshrined or protected in the constitution. We just don't, what you're saying is incorrect on every level, which is evident if you actually take the time to pore over our constitution. The fact that we even need a license to own a firearm, as you admit, is proof of that. The Asia hotel downtown has a broke elevator so you can get a really good deal on a hotel room there if you book on the 4th floor.

Wow! You are following in my footsteps :). I visited China 8 times between 2012 - 2015 and married a Shanghai lady 15 years younger. I brought her to Canada, but after 9 years together she decided to go back home for good (in a way a divorce is better than a funeral). I dated many Chinese before I chose her. However, I realised that I am not fit for a Chinese 'drama' anymore (super materialistic, bad communicators in English, and demanding), so I started to visit PH (been there 6 times already and dated 2 different ladies in their low 30s). For older guys like us, a Pinay is way better than a Chinese (even though I love China and I support that country 100% against US and their puppets, including PH). I never went to Leyte as my targets were popular places with beaches and various attractions, so it's interesting to watch you taking 'baby steps' in that place. It's devastating to lose a life partner, but life goes on and I am sure you will be able to find another 'love' that might be a better fit for you than your ex. But you will have to leave China probably, because she might not be interested in moving there. Keep us posted.
