HI, i know this vid is from 4 years ago so hopefully you will see this question, i have a gas fired boiler with 3 zones, 2 zones are on the 1st floor, 1 for the main house and 1 for an addition and the 3rd zone is for the 2nd floor, the 2nd floor zone isn't getting heat and im trying to troubleshoot it. The zone valve heads are Taco 571-2 and the wiring is different from your video, i have 2 white wires and a red, #1 is white, #2 is red #3 is white not sure which ones to check for continuity, the lever for manual and auto has no resistance to it whether its calling for heat or not. The pipe is hot before the valve but after the valve its warm for about a foot and then its cold. Im assuming its a bad head but wanted to get your opinion and advice. I just changed the circulator pump last week because their wasn't any heat in the whole house at the end of last heating season, bled the system and now have perfect heat for the main house and the addition just not the 2nd floor, sorry about the length of the comment just wanted to give as much info as possible, thanks for any help.

Is direct vent better for a crown oil fired boiler than venting into a chimney? It’s a very short run to the chimney. Also what should the continuity be for those zone heads?

I live in a condo with a single boiler which supplies about twenty units. In this case, is terminal 3 excluded? Also, should I get continuity between 1 & 2 on the power head when no wires are hooked up? Thanks.
