Burnout is real, even harder when the project is your stress reliever... But you're damn close to the finish line. I've enjoyed the shit out of this series and you're the man for being candid about everything along the way. I'm sure you'll catch your second/third/tenth wind having help and someone to bounce ideas off of for a few days. Looking forward to the end result, great idea about producing the iboost plates as well... You'll be in an exclusive club once this thing's done!

I recently did a solid axle swap on my 2000 4runner. It’s a ton of work. This was my first SAS. I had the space to not feel that it was in my way while I worked thru it. Yes, we all had to figure it out. It’s not a simple jeep lift kit. There are a lot of things that we are on our own to figure out. My first test drive, it drove like a stadium truck (drivers side nose pointed to the tree tops and the passenger rear squatted way down. I was like “what the heck did I do!” I called a few people that could help. Since I had to lift the rear to match the front, my rear geometry was way out of wack. The rear anti squat was too low and the roll axis/oversteer was around 22%. I had to completely redesign the rear suspension, something I hadn’t planned on. I did install anti-rock sway bars front and rear. They reduce the body roll some but they definitely slow it down so it’s more predictable. The last thing has been dialing in the steering. It was wandering on the road. I just loosened the steering box mesh load, checked/small adjustment on the axles to frame squareness and a ⅛” toe in adjustment. I also just replaced my Trail-Junk steering u-joints that were loose after 1000 miles (replaced with Borgenson).

And the videos we watch of the guys that do swaps and make it look easy have done swaps before.

Well done sticking it out and making it happen. I always appreciate when people don't know the word quit, you just find a way to push on.

Are you offering the plates you fabricated for the I-boost? I need one, I’m in Temecula.

I remember you mentioning the t-100 brake booster is a common swap. I have a first gen tundra and a lot of people do the t-100 swap. Do you think it’s possible to do the same Ibooster instead with oe brake system?

I have not tested this out yet after I test it out and get some miles under it I will be better able to answer that. I'm interested to see how much power it has. On paper looks like it will have much much more power then a t100 booster with chevy 3500 master.

@@penguinsgarage I’m excited to see some miles on it, thank you for doing the videos and how in-depth you go. For me I enjoy seeing more of the process.
