THIS is the ICON Stage 9 Lift kit I used in this video: bit.ly/2GCiDEv
Check out Brians Channel HERE: / briansmobile1 (Hes awesome, tell him hi for me.)
THE DAY HAS COME!! Its time to lift my brand new 2018 Toyota Tacoma. This baby is less than 3 months old and has 6000 miles on the current suspension. And its time to do some upgrading.
This Icon Vehicle Dynamics lift kit is adjustable and adds about 3 inches of lift in both the front and the rear tires. Which is perfect for my use. Usually when you add more than 3 inches, you have to do some adjustments to the drive train and gearing. And I aint about that life. I just want some extra inches of height and a smoother ride off road, so the 3 inches Icon offers is perfect.
This video will show the basics of the lifting process for all Tacomas 2016 and after... (Until the next model comes out.)
The Icon lift is here: bit.ly/2GCiDEv
Icon Instagram is here: / ivdsuspension
Let me know if you have any questions! Automotive stuff is pretty fun. THIS IS A DANGEROUS PROJECT!! ONLY ATTEMPT IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. THIS IS NOT SOMETHING YOU WANT TO ATTEMPT ON A WHIM. IT LOOKS EASY ON CAMERA, CAN VERY EASILY DESTROY A VEHICLE IF DONE WRONG. Or you know... kill you. Try to avoid doing that.
The camera I used to film this video: amzn.to/2p7GtkX
The Lens I used for this video: amzn.to/1QOXDw2
Wide angle lens: amzn.to/2qiYM4u
And this Metabones adapter: amzn.to/2iZ67Ty
This is the drone I use: amzn.to/2joH00G

+Jaylen Streams Installation time is not something you can skip. Some things require time. But adding to that installation time arises the problems are something that makes the 10hrs installation stretch to days because of a missing nut or unexplained part fitting is annoying in most aftermarket / third party kits.

I did an Automotive Service Technician course back in 2010 through 2012 and I already knew the general procedure of how to go about doing something like this, but man it's cool to see it done. I felt so nostalgic watching this because I don't fix cars for a living anymore, I decided to go back to school and try my hand at an Engineering diploma. Either way, mechanic work is always a great field for me to fall back on.

Live in Minnesota and I've only owned full size trucks since I was 16 and always kept stock suspension in them. Never understood why people waste money on lift kits and wheel spacers. I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND! I work too hard for my money I guess. But it is always hilarious watching lifted trucks pulling trailers down the highway. (Call it the Wisconsin rake) I just have to shake my head everytime. But this is America. Life liberty and the pursuit of happiness and if lifting your truck a couple inches for a couple thousand dollars makes you happy then go for it.

Toyota specifically meantions they didn't move to rear dics because the rear brakes only do 20 percent of the braking. So they decided not to add the extra cost to the truck. That said I have a 2011 Tacoma and would prefer rear discs

Alien Gamer that Doogee Mix 4 is not launched yet, MrWhoseTheBoss unboxing the prototype did not even had a worling display, just a high definition photo at front was put to make us fool, and still 95% screen to body ration is hard to achieve, and that sliding 'nostalgia' effect would just give defects to the phone here and there for sure.

Americans love to believe that lifting there trucks will increase the performance off-road. You not changing the clearance to your rear diff on that Tacoma and adding stress to the front CVs, bigger tires makes more sense.

Yes, but lifting should give better approach and break over angles.
