I currently live in Tacoma. Moved here from southern Oregon about a year ago now. I'm in recovery, but I can tell you that when I was using, and running a muck in the streets 6 months ago, every single person whether they be an addict, homeless, mental illness, fallen on hard times or all of the above were some of the nicest most giving, generous, caring and thoughtful people. People that have come under hard times get labeled in such a terrible manner and treated as if they are leppers. And of course there are those that are just not good people at all, theirs, violent, leave garbage everywhere. But there are people like that in all walks of life. I love Tacoma, and the people that live here. The only negative thing I have to say, and this applies to the entire state. But not a single person here knows how to drive. It's infuriating. Pick a damn speed, don't break for no reason on the freeway, get off your phone, and learn how to merge!

My grandpa is still alive and really healthy lol his brother got him into rock during the end of the crack era, that ended quickly because there’s no crack in Yakima. Only Meth, which he was never into. He’s a Vietnam baby so he loves weed and alcohol, but listening to his crack-stint stories is pretty entertaining. He said he had “a pet snake that would scare some of the black guys”, and that he “used it to scare away stragglers” that would wanna hang around while his dealers were cooking up 😂😂😂😂
