@terryadams2652 3 жыл бұрын
@Romeo Tene "ask yourself how many people...", *Well, i'd say whatever that proportion is, (say, whatever, 10%), it's probably THE SAME proportion for both Toyota owners & Ford owners.* Notice that Ford sells WAY MORE pickup trucks in the US (since people are suckers for gimmicks) than Toyota, which begs the question: If there are Toyota pickups doing 1M miles, then why don't you see WAY MORE Ford pickups achieving 1M miles? See my point? The fact that you don't see that from Ford, in spite of selling more pickups to begin with, speaks volumes about Ford (and it's not good).

I have the v6 6 speed transmission with 180k, I've put roughly 2k$ into it since I got it 4 years ago. I haven't had any huge issues. The rear-end has the original suspension, I changed the front because one of the struts snapped in half due to rot, they were Bilsteins too, but I replaced them with Suncores.. cause I'm cheap.. I put an exedy stage 2 pro clutch kit in it because I didn't want to ever worry about that going. I did the brakes (pads, rotors, calipers, etc), and that's it. Now I just do regular oil changes every 3 to 4k miles, just regular maintenance. I also live in Mass where they salt the hell out of the roads... I wash my truck every 2 weeks, I have it undercoated every year with Fluid Film. Hands down best truck I've ever owned. I've had dodge, chevy, gmc, Mitsubishi, Honda, Ford... Toyota is by far the best I've ever owned, the reliability is unmatched.

He sold it when it got 375,000 miles on it, for $500. As far as I know, the truck has over a 1/2 million miles on it and is STILL ROLLING STRONG. atv guy well... if you consider me an ass because I said something that contradicted what you said, then I guess that makes me an ass. But your comment did imply only Toyota can do this as you said leave it toyota..I didn’t mean it in a asshole way, it was more joking as so many people will be like omg this so and so brand is the best and nothing else compares and never had in the history of vehicles has there been something else close. Yes it’s amazing he got high mileage but others have to.. no? So sorry going by what you said made me an ass, suppose you yourself are an ass for putting such a bullshit comment to begin with..

@@brandonb5298 you fuckin idiot take the comment for what it is. Stop overthinking and overcomplicating shit. You're just confusing yourself. It's simply a compliment towards Toyotas reliability. That's it. I'm not a dumbass brand loyalist like you make me out to be. Obviously lots of companies make good products or there would only be one

Incredible! And a very safe driver to go that many miles without a major wreck to take the Tacoma off the road. Hey my 1992 Toyota Pickup had 112,000 miles when I sold it. Darn, I shoulda kept it for another million miles!

My dads 91 pickup had the same mileage when he sold it in 03. Was having too many problems so we ditched it for a new 04 yukon. Best decision ever made and 14 years later its still runnin. Although the toyota was 4x4 which was kinda cool, but whats the point if it didnt want to start half of the time
