596,000 Miles - Why the Lexus ES is the Best Used Mid-Sized Sedan

Greg - Your Car Angel shares why the Lexus ES 300, ES 330 and the ES 350 are the best used Luxury cars to buy. High quality parts, high quality Japanese manufacturing make this the most reliable sedan you can buy. Put those together with highway miles and you get a car with very high miles. 596,000 miles is ultra high mileage. All the older 2002-2006 ES cars were built in Japan. The American and German manufacturers could not match the quality of the Lexus product.

I have an 05 ES330 with every available option on it. Nav, power Rear sun shade, sport tuning suspension, rain sensing wipers, 17’ 6 spoke chrome rims, heated and ventilated seats, adjustable pedals, etc. I absolutely love it. Bought it a year ago with 182k miles, now have 203k on it. So comfortable and smooth, the previous owner babied it, as do I. It looks immaculate inside and out, and i intend to keep it that way for as long as I can. Drives like its brand new, it’s just an impeccable car. Edit: holy crap DCH Lexus of Oxnard?!? I’ve been there a million times! I usually service at Lexus of Woodland Hills or Thousand Oaks however lol. Also go up to DCH Lexus Santa Barbara all the time! edit now 250k on mine. No issues. Thanks for sharing your experience in your videos! A little about Toyota quality: I live in Bangkok and my brother in law runs a small taxi business with eleven cars. All of them Toyota Corolla Altis. They're all converted to LPG In Bangkok the city allows all cabs to be used maximum 9 years. Each cab runs about 200000 km per year. So when it's time for retirement of the car the odometer shows around 1800000 km. (approx 1,125,000 miles) They never swap engines or transmission, just ordinary service. Oil and filter is changed every 10000 km. Normally there are no problems with these cars. Everything is working. The traffic is terrible in Bangkok and it's very hot and humid After retirement many cabs are used as a private car and continues to work. So, yes the quality is amazing.

I feel like around 2009 is when they cleared up most of the drivability issues at least, they definitely didn't fix the dash melting problem until 2013. My 2008 has 180k, it has been a fantastic car.
