I headed to tacos in Bangkok with Boon. We always have a great time enjoying new places to eat. The Deck on Sukhumvit Soi 20 in Bangkok, Thailand has a great Taco Tuesday. It's also dog friendly.

Speaking of Antonnia Miss Universe Thailand, we just saw her in Minnesota last weekend for a Songkran festival event. Just posted a vlog on it. Definitely pretty cool seeing her in person. . MN has a pretty large Thai community. We won’t be back to BKK until early winter so it’s nice to enjoy some Thai culture in the meantime. Joe - I am with you on the taco platter. I need my Mexican food every so often over there.

Joe.. sorry that this isn’t a question specific to this video but I wasn’t sure if you would see a comment on an older video. My wife and I are both Air Force vets and are considering Thailand for retirement. We are also considering opening an account at Navy Federal because of their apparent acceptance of members moving overseas. I was curious however if you actually have a Thai address on your NFCU account or if you use a mail forwarding company in the States or other solution to an address they accept. Sorry if this isn’t something you want to answer but I couldn’t the info in your other videos. Again, thanks for your videos and all that you do.

I've always used a buddies address in the US (Florida) for tax purposes. I'm no expert on using a Thai address for other issues. I've had a credit card sent UPS to my Thai address, but I had a FL address on file. I do know if you keep a foreign address, social security calls you once a year. To see if your alive. I've been told if you miss the call, they leave no message. They stop your check until you turn it back on in a month or two. If you use a US bank this doesn't happen? I'm not sure, I'm only 57. I even maintain a US phone (on wi-fi for free) to accept OTP codes from banks, pensions, etc.. Some, but not all will verify with an email. Set all that up before you move abroad. 2 step verification is the norm these days. Fidelity Investments (may or may not) send an OTP to a foreign phone number. Many won't use What's App, etc.. Figure all that out, before you move. I just keep paying T Mobile $55. But, that's another issue. Manu US cell companies will stop the service if it doesn't hit a US Cell tower in 2 years. I BS'd my way onto a military package. I think it's for active duty members. I'm over 2 years abroad and the T mobile still works. Not sure for how much longer? Ok, hope that helps

@@EagerExpat Thanks very much. Great info. Yeah we are 58 and 57 and I have heard about the proof of life on the SS too. We have been looking at South Dakota for domicile as well. We kept our Mint mobile accounts while we were in Panama for about 5-6 months as well. It worked for the 2 factor authentication. I have found that a few of my accounts now offer using an authenticator application that generates a random code. Thanks again for all the great videos!

@@newamiga South Dakota has always been a great choice. More South Dakota plates in Baja than Mexican plates. Yes, many sites offer an email verification. None of these are tricky problems. Just small issues.

Where exactly is the short cut through from Soi 22 to the park was staying on Soi 22 during Songkran and never found it, was going all the way around to hit the skate park every morning.

You need to walk through the Marriott lobby or the Marriott underground parking garage. There is a gate very close to the basketball court. Just go back to Soi 22 from the side gate at the Marriott. Then you can do it in reverse. There is another gate by Emsphere, but I'm talking about the one by the hoops court
