I'd get an Icee in February. Not a lot different than drinking your favorite iced coffee. Wish I had your trash company, ours won't take anything that doesn't into the trash container we are required to use. I think you are right about those Amazon boxes. Another possibility is I saw a video where someone won the bid on a unit that looked like that and it turned out to be a bunch of drink cups that were marketing items for a failed company, pretty much worthless.

I’m kind of off the garbage man right now. Trash day was yesterday, our bin was out there next to the neighbors’s like always but they didn’t empty it. All the others on the street got taken but ours. The fee is included in our rent so it’s not a matter of not paying. Their mistake. Hugs to Salsa 🐶

Here’s why the Amazon boxes could be real. When my stepsister was alive, she was a hoarder. My mom went over to help her. She had a room off the back of the house full of Amazon boxes. She had never opened up. She ordered and ordered and ordered and stuffed it all in the back room.

We got very little snow this year. I am very thankful. I think it snowed like twice maybe an inch and was gone soon enough. I think in January we did get 6 inches but like it was gone within a week.

I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We got one snow of about two inches, it was gone by noon. Now we're in the sixties with some of the trees already budding. This early Spring is not good for the fruits.

Yeah that's how I see it, it's one thing to get a unit of decent stuff. But at $4,000 you have to not only make a profit you have to also at least cover the cost and expenses. The more money you spend the harder it is to reach that break even point.

Taco, I think you are right not to bid on a unit that had all the same boxes - it could be the same product that did not sell. Why take that chance? Hope you can fix up that building you were talking in - was that once a horse stable? It shouldn't be that hard to put up some plywood and reinforce those walls with sheathing - it makes a great storage area, much cheaper than renting any storage unit.

These trash men don't put the lid back on the can. Then, if it rains, it's gross. They also drive down in the yard. Hubs sits them out very close, but they still do it. Got reflectors to Mark, and they still do it. The leave big ruts. Hubs mows out there, so it really is irritating. But we are still grateful to them out here. I loved this. I agree with you , most of the storage videos are fake. I watched one where they opened a box of shirts that was supposedly boxed up for 5 yrs, not a cheese in sight or dust on the box. 😅

Most of the storage buyers take chances but are also checking to see how long they rented and look for a few signs of money makers. One I saw paid up to 30 thousand dollars and he doubled his money because they were good sellable products. You have to take a chance

That's a crazy amount to pay for a bunch of boxes. Awhile ago, I watched a video of a liquidator who bought a trucker's load of unpaid haul with a a lot of boxes. He paid a huge amount for the haul. When he opened them, he found a bunch of games...1000s of them. After comping them, he figured he'd make around $100K!
