I don’t know why I so enjoy watching these trash picks, but I do!

Hey, new sub here. I’m enjoying watching all your vlogs. In this one, I didn’t get a full-on view of that antique photo, but it looked as if it was a Memento Mori portrait. In the late 1800s when photographs became affordable, families would have portraits made of their deceased loved ones. It was a way for them to have a photo of the lost family member(s), and most often it was the only photo they would ever have to remember them. A lot of the time, the living members of the family would sit for the photo with the dead. The photographer would have to get the photo made within 2 days, because if they didn’t, the body would begin decomposing. Photographers had special stands made that would hold the bodies erect, and if it seemed appropriate or the families requested it, they would paint their eyelids like eyeballs in order to give the impression that the dead person was alive. If it should interest you, there are tons of Memento Mori videos here on KZbin. At first, I was creeped out about the practice, but they aren’t gruesome and watching the videos made me see how much the departed person was loved.

People are happy to see you grab that scrap. They hate to pitch it and they can't get rid of it. I have set metal out just for the scrap man to take.

I'm subbed, I like your adventures. Just a thought, get yourself a high- vis safety vest, $10 on E-Bay, you want to be seen while doing your thing by other drivers whilst traversing across the streets. More expensive vests will print any name or logo on the back for you, oh something like "Taco Stacks" perhaps? ☺
@benny51907 жыл бұрын
BeachsideHank they cost alot less than $10 i need them for commercial ewaste pickups i got a few for £1.50 each of ebay so probably $2 but your right could save taco's life one day

@raesunnyshine85246 жыл бұрын
i wonder that also, a guy i know waits until he has a dump truck about 1/2 full and goes. one time i think he said he made $6800.00 scrapping is good money if you save it up and then take it all in.

I really enjoy your videos. I would like to see more of the swamp meet kind. You and I have some things in common, one of those being is Tacos. I can eat them every night for dinner. :) Make a video or two on how you make your tacos. Make some on how you work on mowers and such. Maybe some clean up tips you use. Have a good day!!!

You need to change your name from Taco Stacks to Taco Toss. If you placed things better in your van you would have more room for your stuff. Also why do you park so far from your pile when there are parking spaces closer? It is what it is. Keep picking.

And what is the reason behind “Taco Stacks”? I was thinking that Stacks might be your last name, and you like tacos so much that your friends/family started calling you Taco Stacks. I’m sure I’m not even close, lol! Keep up the good work!
