Hello Taco...( Suggestion?) as you panned back to the van (like around 16:45 ) as you tossed stuff in the van and the clothes on the hangers... you van is NOW packed and looks as bad as the storage unit. You now have to pick up all that loose stuff in your van.... wasting a LOT of your time. Wouldn't it make sense to arrive with 4 or 5 large totes (you must have from previous units) and instead toss the loose clothes and other such items into a Tote? Pick up 1 tote or 20 pieces of clothing laying in the van... again. Plus you can stack the totes. You are doing double work making it harder on yourself. " Work smarter... Not Harder". We all know you are a hard worker...can't deny that. Change is good.

My friend always buys his jeans at the flea market. Never under estimate the power of the $1 bin when selling at the flea market. You can try the box of stuff for $5, have a big pile of clothes and pretty much everything and anything and let buyers fill a box for $5 a box. Good way to move bulk.

If you are doing a storage unit without someone helping you, Taco, you need a folding table to put a bag or box on and THEN take the stuff out so we could see it. You took that IKEA bag and pulled out one item (a shoe) and then put the WHOLE bag in your van. What was in the IKEA bag? What is the difference if you took your time and showed us what is in a box or bag, even if it is a longer video I would watch it!

@@TacoStacks I hope you still plan on doing KZbin! Why not just take about an hour or so, not rush, just have a Tripod for your camera like you do the mail opening ups. Get small storage units that would take you about two hours or so and set up a table to open the boxes. Then make your video and you could have it in 20 or 15 minutes segments. Like Part one, part two, and so on. Why have it in one video? You could put it out like that without rushing. You don't need a camera crew to spend more money on. That would take out of your profits.

First thing I seen was the big aluminium grain scoop (shovel), that was worth the money right out of the box, everything else was gravy. The CD thing at the start also,, was a car radio. If you don't have the faceplate, not good for anything, not worth much even if you do. The speakers in the bag looked like car speakers as well, they may have some value depending on brand. The hand wipes can still be used in the shop to clean hands, just no guarantee on the germ killing ability. Well worth fifteen bucks. 👍👍

Auction Unit Clean-out: the standard required in our area, to get your Clean-Out Deposit back, is to not only clear the contents, but to leave them “broom swept”. Meaning you sweep out the floor, too. It’s at that point that I always take a photo with my phone, showing the swept unit, with the unit number clearly showing in the shot. If I had to leave a cleaning deposit, I take the photo up to the office as I exit, which saves me from walking back with the staff, to show the unit is clean. If the office is closed, when I finish, some facilities will let you e-mail the photo and they’ll refund your card for the deposit when the office opens again. I started doing the empty unit photo thing after a friend of mine got charged an unexpected fee on his credit card. He broom swept his, but someone else clearing a unit that day noticed his unit had no lock and was empty. So as they sorted/loaded the one they cleared, but they put all their unit’s trash and unwanted items into the one he’d just cleared, after he finished. He was working on a weekend and left when the office was closed. Some facilities give the buyer a temp gate code, so the can work on the weekend, when the office isn’t staffed.
