I think it’s so cute or maybe just wonderful that neither of you recognize an ashtray. “It’s a candle, maybe the candle goes in there, it’s a bird house”. 😂. Actually…. Hanging ashtray from probably the 70’s. I’m glad you are bewildered by an ashtray.

@@ketipap686 Nope. Ashtray. We actually had a hanging one that was hanging by a corner club chair. Ours hung with a chain but there were macramé ones as well. Ours was a garish green color also popular at the time. Look for the three slits in the front where you would rest your cigarette. I have helpful suggestions. When you go through a box, transfer the items to other boxes or garbage so the viewers see the path to the empty box and feel like they were on the journey. Just take an empty box or bin to sit beside you to transfer the items to that are 'keepers', not trash. Not with all the boxes, just the ones you look through in more detail. Look under the velvet tray in jewelry boxes. You may have been able to feel it was empty, but the camera is using only vision and women hide stuff under the top tray in jewelry boxes. It looked like there was something in the wax jar. I would've liked it if you took the lid off and checked out the contents, whether it was wax paste or a wrapped up glass pretty inside the jar. Open the crayon box, lol. The people watching these are nosy (me) and want to see the insides too. On another note, I remember easy rider magazine but had forgotten it till you found it. Thanks for showing us. I like the way you handle your channel. I enjoyed this unit more than others, you are getting better at showing us what's in it. You are the first storage unit channel I watched and now I have a business on ebay too. I plan to start buying storage units soon out west where I am. You are helping people. Thank You.

My mother had the same Liberty Blue plates. She purchased them through a grocery store promotional event in the mid 70’s. For every dollar she spent on groceries, she received a percentage off the price of each piece purchased (I think the % went up as one spent more money in the store). I come from a family of 10 and we didn’t have much money, but my mother managed to purchase every piece in the service, and complete place settings for 16 people.

The folding razor is for cutting hair. My mom went to school to style hair back in the early 60s. She cut my hair with one of those all the time. It is designed to thin your hair as it cuts so that it lays nicely. Scissors were basically used to just trim up a bit or cut bangs, etc. The car is not 1 of 24 it's a 1/24th scale. The flow blue plates from England have beauty and value. Beer steins have lids, mugs usually don't. Good unit. I hoped you would find some more Harley items too, but the comics were cool. You need to research a couple of those items; I think there are a couple of smaller items that might surprise you. Enjoyed it. Been hoping you would buy another unit. I didn't see anything at all about this one that would suggest it's a hoarder unit though. Just a small household one of someone who had a couple of small collections.

Since you were wondering, yeah, that's what I was most intrested on, the wrapped goodies! 😔 Hopefully you 'll make another video with some more unboxing and digging through the stuff you skiped this time. Perhaps you could try for once a longer video, with more detailed unwrapping and see how it does, I definately would enjoy it. I understand though that your real concern might be time, as you engage in multiple things in a day, but maybe you can try changing your scedule once and dedicate a day to a unit, just to taste the waters. Other than that, I enjoyed this one. Don't forget to research the razor aswell before you put it in flea market inventory. Also that one snow globe had and older look to it?

10:44 Blankies are great for wrapping breakables at the flea, or for Salsa blankets. She would like them. As for collector plates ... take 'em to a skeet range and solve two problems? The Easy Riders sound like good bonfire starter, especially since eBoo is cracking down on less than clothed ladies... but only if they're yours. Everone else's nekkid ladies are allowed to ride freely. The smart move, if not using them for heat, would be to flea market them. 16:15 That green glass may be uranium glass; if so it'll light up like a beacon under blacklight. Definitely worth looking through this stuff. One possibility - old party napkins. The vintage ones can be worth a good bit, and they're dead easy to ship.

You’re looking for the November 1985 issue of Easyrider. It features a “young” Traci Lords and goes for a bunch on eBay. Also any with Dave Mann art centerfolds, depending on the piece.

The green bowl might be uraniam glass. If you have a black light and shine it on the bowl it will glow. Vintage and pricey.
